En el interior de la carta que comienza con un "Enfin c´est fini" (finalmente se acabó), se resume como ha quedado París después del sitio, del pillaje de la ciudad, de las actuaciones de la Guardia Nacional, así como otras anotaciones importantes sobre la vida cotidiana antes y después del sitio, en nuestra opinión un texto de enorme importancia histórica.
